Initially, I loved the socks. In the couple of months of moderate use they all have developed heavy pilling and deteriorated lining.

I wear my Clohill crew socks daily. These are great in boots ; cool in summer and warm in winter. They are just the right thickness and also are comfortable when worn with my moccasins.
Very handy and useful while traveling. This is the third time buying it, because all my family are using them
I can’t say enough about these socks. I’ve purchased bundles several times now and they are well worth it. They keep my feet warm in the winter and cool/dry in the summer. I wash them in laundry bags and let them air dry to avoid pilling.
These are great looking Sox! They are also very comfortable. Worn them a few times in steel toe boots for long shifts and are holding up great. Also can wear for more than one day in a row, no odor. Will be buying more!
I have worn these multiple days in a row and is they're good my feet don't stink or itch or get sweaty I have yet to wear them on a day that has not had the coolest temp of 70°.
If you've had Clohill socks no need to explain. If you haven't, I'll say this, buy a pair of these socks, any one they have, and you won't go back to whatever you've been wearing. The warranty is amazing. I returned 1 sock, returned a sock I burn using it as a potholder camping, a pair my puppy snagged a few holes in. They stand on the warranty which that alone makes them worth it.
These socks are extremely comfortable and cool on the foot even in summer especially considering how thick they are. I have a issue where my feet sweat extremely bad and since I started using these socks my feet are considerably less sweaty after a long day in my boots. The best perk in my opinion is that even though my feet are still a little sweaty there doesn't seem to be any more odor. My boots even though they are new had already started to smell like dirty feet. Im am extremely happy with my purchase.

These socks are cool in the heat and warm in the cold. Excellent for long hikes- they are like walking on cushioned insoles. I have purchased other Alpaca socks and they wore holes in the toes and heels. These socks are life time guaranteed. They are built to last!!
I have alot of skin issues with my feet in hot weather. I have wore them faithfully for 3 weeks and havent had any issues with feet. They seem to keep my feet cooler even when temps was in the high 90s with the real feel being up at 105°. They are truly worth the money so far.

My hubby loves them. Pretty much all he wears! They stay put rather than falling underneath his foot! They are thick but not too thick so your shoe is too tight. He also likes the color selection. Will definitely buy again!
110 Mile March Game Changer! Every September for the past 5 years I've attended the Black Hills 110 Mile Veteran's March. I walked 3 of the 5 years, and the hardest part about walking those 110 miles in 4 days were the blisters. Last summer I did a lot of research on socks and came across Clohill. Because of the reviews I saw about Baby Alpaca Wool, I decided I would give them a try. I also ordered a different brand that also showed good reviews. The second sock I ordered had toes sewn in. The first day I wore the Clohill socks in the morning and we had to walk in rain. My feet got wet, but by the time I got to our first stop, no blisters. Because of the wet feet, I changed my shoes and socks to the other brand. Within 3 miles, I could feel a blister forming on the ball of my left foot. So I grabbed another pair of the Clohill socks and never looked back! The small blister that formed did not continue to grow or cause me any pain after wearing the Clohill socks. I finished the full 110 miles without the blisters I had experienced the previous years. Clohill socks are my favorite! They are My go to when I know I will be on my feet all day. They are comfortable and fit my feet (size 9), I ordered the size small ankle socks. I usually wear a boys sock because the adult regular heel goes up to my ankle and does not sit at the heel where it is supposed to. These socks hold up wash after wash and feel so good. I am walking again this year in September and plan to order more not just for me, but for my team as well. Watching my teammates suffer from blisters was just as painful to watch as it was a reminder of what I went through the other 2 years. Thank you Clohill for an exceptional product! I meant to do this review after I was finished with the march, but exhaustion won. Then I spaced it off and it became less of a priority. I forgot to mention in my review that during the march the temperatures vary greatly. And go from 40° mornings to temps in the 90°'s in the afternoons. My feet stayed warm and cool and more importantly dry. Except of course from the rain. Now I am getting ready for September and will be ordering Clohill socks again as I lost one sock in the wash. Best alpaca shock I ever had!
Simply the best Alpaca socks I have purchased! Super soft, warm, comfortable to wear and stretchy too. They slip on and off with ease. They are very versatile and they breath adding to the comfort factor. I have Clohill boot socks and compression socks and I would recommend them highly! A little pricey but worth it!
I have worn merino socks for years and decided to make the switch to alpaca and i wish i made the switch sooner. I got my first Clohill socks a week before going on a trip to Italy and walking almost 10 miles a day, the socks preformed amazing and were a lifesafer for my feet.

These sock are my new standard for everyday use. I'm happier with them then any other socks I ever owned. Did a 14 day fire assignment and only went thru 4 pairs of them and didn't have any swamp feet or any foot rot oder. The boots socks are thicker and warmer but just as comfy. I will get another few pairs and recommend to friends...
I have tried other premium brands ( at least from a $ perspective). These are EASY on and OFF! Super comfortable and breathable. Recommend!
Been wearing them 2 weeks straight in 80 degree weather and my feet aren't soaking wet at the end of a work day.
The socks are very nice...soft, cushiony and supportive. I like the way every pair is individually packaged, too. I have had to snip a couple of fibers that my toes were getting stuck on when pulling on the socks, but that's happened to me before with other brands of alpaca fiber socks, so I think it's normal. So far, so good. They feel like they will last and wear well.
I'm pretty picky about what kind of socks I like. After wearing basic socks for years and having cold toes most of the time, I decided to try these and so glad I did. These are very comfortable and my toes aren't so cold anymore. Worth the investment.
Sock feel good on legs during the day! They feel almost like compression socks. I really like them when it is cold outside!

Great fit and the moisture wicking is awesome.
I bought two pair of these socks to get me through a 21 mile Ultratrak. They held up as expected, my feet remained dry and I was surprised by the added cushion they provided. I did began to develop a small blister towards the front of my foot but believe it was caused by the shoes I was wearing and not the socks. I will definitely purchase more of these socks for my upcoming trip to Colorado. Highly recommended!!
