How to care for alpaca socks? Hand wash in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Gently press out excess water and lay flat to dry. If machine washing, use a gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry.

I'm a little late to the party with alpaca socks but I do a good deal of hunting. My mother-in-law got me a pair of hollows last year and while I really like them I've only worn them under 10 times and I've noticing that I can see my foot through the material in a few places. I ordered these because they were a good deal and the company seemed to have one of the best reputations in terms of warranties and I have been very pleasantly surprised. I've worn them several times and I'm not seeing any difference from the first time I put them on. I think they look like they're going to last a lot better and I know they have a higher percentage of alpaca fiber while being significantly cheaper than hollow

I like these socks. A friend suggested that I get these for our hiking trip in The Rockie Mountains National Park. Since I am not an avid hiker, this is my first experience with this type of alpaca wool socks. They breathed well, kept my feet dry by wicking and air dried in what seemed like three minutes. I think they are well made. We've hiked and washed them a few times and they are holding up fine. YMMV but I'm happy with them. Thanks for reading.

These are obviously good quality socks. I can wear them for a week without them losing their shape or smelling bad. I just washed them by hand for the first time and will see how they are after they dry. I'm hoping not to buy hiking socks ever again!

I've been shopping a couple sock companies, and its early days, but yours seem the best at this point. Maybe add a couple basic colors to a day to day crew sock...like brown and blue (to go with gray and black).
Shipping time was great. Sock quality is great. Line dry is going to be a pain long term. Will see how a pair holds up to the dryer.
I was concerned the socks were very thin, but they keep my feet as warm if not warmer than my thicker wool blend socks!
